Holistic Therapies of ILCs
We take a multidimensional approach to therapies, addressing not only physical challenges but also emotional, social, and cognitive aspects. Through personalized skill development, adaptive technology training, and vocational support, the program equips participants with the tools they need to acquire for independent living. Economic empowerment at ILCs allow person with disabilities to live independently and with dignity. Economic empowerment contributes to families and communities. It also helps to reduce poverty and inequality.
Education
Provide education to those who never attended school or dropped from school because of their disability. Education is provided face to face and virtually.
Skill Training
Provide training in various skills to persons with disabilities as they attain their livelihood and support their families.
Employment
PWDs deserve their share in professional development programs for becoming eligible for doing jobs in public and private sector.
Entrepreneurship
Support entrepreneurs with disabilities as they have small businesses and they play their role in the development of society.
Advocating and lobbying for the implementation of legislation at the subnational and national levels that is harmonized with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD, 2007). These regional legislations and policies protect and promote the rights of PWDs in Pakistan.
