Pakistan Independent Living Centre provides essential assistive technology to support mobility, communication, and daily independence for persons with disabilities. Services include wheelchair PWD, crutches for disabled, white cane visually impaired, and hearing devices PWD, along with learning support through Braille education and sign language education. These resources help individuals participate safely and confidently in everyday life while maintaining dignity and choice.
PILC focuses strongly on addressing mobility challenges while supporting diverse disability needs. The centre has extended polio disability assistive device support and other aids to individuals affected by earthquakes, floods, and conflict, including Afghan refugees. Through inclusive assisted living services, PILC continues to reach underserved communities, ensuring practical support where vulnerability is highest and access to essential devices is limited.

Pakistan Independent Living Centre provides specialized assistive technology training to ensure wheelchair PWD, crutches for disabled, hearing devices PWD, and white cane visually impaired are used safely and effectively. Training includes sign language education and practical guidance, fostering confidence, mobility, and independence while enhancing overall self-reliance for participants.
In addition, PILC delivers rapid support through emergency assistive devices programs for PWDs affected by crises. Aid includes polio disability assistive device, vision and communication supports, and Braille education, ensuring immediate safety, continuity of daily activities, and long-term independence for every individual.
Our state-of-the-art training lab equips participants with hands-on experience for IT jobs for disabled. Through IT training for persons with disabilities and accessible technology, PWD learners practice real-world tasks, including software use, digital communication, and workflow management. The lab also provides computer courses for the disabled, exposure to printing work for people with disabilities (PWD), and opportunities in media jobs PWD, ensuring participants gain practical skills and confidence for inclusive employment.
