KILC has been raising awareness about disability management, the rights of PWDs, and the importance of full social and political inclusion. Efforts focus on enabling persons with disabilities to participate equally in all areas of life.
To achieve this, KILC organizes conferences, workshops, seminars, and training sessions at colleges and universities, promoting knowledge, understanding, and practical skills to support inclusion and independence for PWDs.
As Pakistan is a signatory of the CRPD (Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities), KILC actively advocates for its implementation across all sectors, from printing the disability logo on CNICs to ensuring employment opportunities under disability quotas, strengthening rights and accessibility nationwide.
PILC works to strengthen awareness of disability rights and foster full social participation. Through workshops, seminars, and community events, persons with disabilities are encouraged to engage actively in public life. This approach helps reduce stigma, promotes equality, and ensures that every individual can contribute meaningfully to society.
By connecting families, educators, and local institutions, these programs support long-term inclusion and empower PWDs to navigate daily challenges with confidence.
PILC advocates for government and institutional recognition of disability rights. Awareness campaigns aim to ensure policy implementation aligns with international conventions and local regulations.
Collaborating with NGOs, universities, and community leaders, PILC bridges gaps in accessibility, promoting understanding, and protecting the rights of persons with disabilities across Pakistan.
