Pakistan Independent Living Center (PILC) delivers the Art of Daily Living program to strengthen daily independence for disabled individuals through practical, respectful, and empowering support. The program covers essential routines, including self-care disability practices, meal preparation, and household training for PWD, supported by trained professionals in an inclusive environment. Through guided activities and real-life applications, participants gain confidence and control over everyday responsibilities while building sustainable habits for independent participation.
Our structured approach combines ADL training for PWD, personal care training for PWD, and ongoing independent living daily support to build strong independent living life skills. PILC also offers life skills workshop disability sessions, accessibility guidance, and ADL peer support, encouraging shared learning and self-advocacy. Together, these services help individuals develop practical skills, social connections, and the confidence needed to live with dignity, autonomy, and community belonging.
Timing: Monday to Friday – 10:00 to 17:00 – PST

Each life skills workshop focuses on real-world routines such ADL training for PWD, self-care disability, and household training for PWD, allowing participants to confidently manage their daily obligations. Interactive sessions promote problem-solving, shared experiences, and consistent improvement, which is aided by ongoing independent living daily support.
These skill-building programs also include personal care training for PWD with disabilities and supervised practice in independent living life skills that are adapted to each individual’s needs and ability. Structured training and ADL peer support help participants acquire confidence in decision-making, routine management, and self-reliance. Our approach promotes consistent learning, mutual encouragement, and practical growth, helping individuals move toward a more independent and dignified daily life.
